Lent Term Bop Requests by MC B Rabbit - Fri 24th Jan 2003, 12:42am
The musical marvel that is the bop will be upon us before too long, and unless you want me and Becca to inflict our sordid tastes on you, then you should start thinking of some songs!

Last chance for bop requests. If you're too embarrassed to post them, then you can always e-mail them to me: rn222.

How about Sit Down by James? It has to be done, and usually is. I dont think Ive heard Groovy Train by the Farm at a bop before though. Now THAT is classic cheese.

I find that anything by Steps tends to get me grooving. Or SClub7.

I suppose I'd better get some of the more obvious songs and artist(e)s asked for ... MC Hammer, anything by Pet Shop Boys, Blue Monday, Chesney, Take On Me, I'm So Excited, Final Countdown, something by Village People, something by Erasure, Enola Gay, Blue, Gold, Summer Of '69, Livin' On A Prayer, Heaven Is A Place On Earth, Karma Chameleon, Ace Of Base, I Will Survive, Living On My Own, The Power Of Love, True Faith, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, something by Kylie, Steps, S Club, It's Raining Men, You're Not Alone, Jump, Sit Down, Jump Around, Tubthumping, The Heat Is On, Don't Stop Me Now, Freestyler, ... Ok. That's enough for now

Dubya said: I think its red hot chili peppers It is the Red Hot Chilli Peppers - and it's called The Zephyr Song if you're trying to find it Becca...It's not the only song to feature rowing kit... Madonna's Ray of Light mentions them as well ("Zephyr in the sky at night I wonder/Do my tears of mourning sink beneath the sun/She's got herself a universe gone quickly/For the call of thunder threatens everyone" - makes sense to me!). Yet to find a Top 40 song which features all-in-ones, but surely only a matter of time.

Not sure if it was ever released as a single, and it doesn't actually mention the title in the lyrics, but there is this: www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/bobmarley/allinone.html(apologies if it's not appearing as a link - couldn't get that working)

And 'United States of Whatever' by Liam Lynch. Very cheap at just one and a half minutes.
