The Talbott Cup

The Talbott Cup was created in 2013 to provide increased racing opportunity for lower boats which are often disadvantaged by the Pembroke Regatta categorisation system and the lower number of Bumps divisions in Lents.

The regatta is intended for lower boats' rowers and as such no rower/cox who has first boat colours may race, those who break this rule will have their crew disqualified. Further, their club may be banned from the following year's race at the discretion of the race secretary.

The 2026 race will be run on Tuesday the 17th of March 2026, with the first race starting at 2pm.
Entries close at 23:59 on Friday 13th March 2026.

We are continuing last years six division race as follows:

second boats which are their either their club's lowest boat OR did not race Lent Bumps. (GoR is allowed.)
third boats
fourth boats

This will be equal on the men's and women's sides. These divisions may be merged at the discretion of the Race Secretary depending on the numbers of entries.

Any division with four or more entries will be entitled to glass tankards.
