Fairmaid

Fairmaid
'The Iron Maiden isn'...'

Maker: Banhams Boat Yard, Cambridge
Made in: unknown
Bought in: unknown

Fairmaid of Kent was a clinker VIII very similar to Conquorer. It was last used in about 2000 and dismantled in preference to the lighter plastic boats such as Titan and Peter Brandt. Whilst the boat still floated, its age and out of date fittings meant that its value was limited.

Fairmaid made her last appearance for the club in 2007, when she was burnt in celebration of the double Lents headship.
