I should mention that I have pretty much completed the kit ordering page, there just hasn't been a kit order yet so I haven't done the finishing touches. It will be in action though as soon as there is an order.

Nice photos of the committee? Do such things exist?

I don't think so. And given it's the least popular website addition, this seems unlikely to change!

Can we pressure College to give us an internet link ATBH? Clare have one (as obviously does Goldie). Since College own the BH can we work on them?

If so, then I think the best thing would be equipment booking.

Would make lard much easier too since lard purchases could be input straight into the website. And also you could put outing schedules on it and have crews put outing reports into it for every session after their chats which would of course have to act like a message board with ability to comment so later the crew members can comment on particular sessions etc. And you could put a computer there with firewire and some video software allowing you to offload clips from video cameras and put straight on the website for individuals to use. There are literally a huge number of applications. You could put individual training logs on the website so people can get to them no matter where they are and so the captain can keep track easily, etc etc

This is all true. Unfortunately I'm not sure college will see the academic benefit of these things :)

Well how much would it cost? Surely the club can find the cash if we really could get a few of the things Dubya suggets...

Well...if the BC was going to do it a broadband connection makes the most sense. About £16/month atm + cost of buying modem + decent PC.

I note a small but distinct difference in the boy/girl voting in this...
