It seems that someone has gone for everything except incline bench press and hip abduction.

Start in a sitting position with legs together. Work is done opening the legs. The exercise is most commonly performed using a machine, although there are variants which look less... dubious.

P.S. There are far too many options on this poll.

Indeed. I think there should be an upper limit of 10 options. Hasn't anyone ever read any of those "How to write good surveys" type sheets?!

Also, where is the CowboyNeal option?

Yeah - the following poll would have been much better (although it does contain 11 options):

What muscle(s)/muscle group(s) do you most enjoy working during weights?

* calves
* quads
* hamstrings
* glutes
* back
* abs
* chest
* shoulders
* biceps
* triceps
* the ones on your elbow that go egg shaped when you flex your forearms in that certain way

Nah - you need to have a "none of the above" or "not applicable" option...

Guidelines are agreed on this. However, what advice is there re: number of options? I can't find any.
by no idea about these new-fangled training regimes - Mon 19th Jul 2004, 5:42pm

It does seem rather silly at first glance... but actually seems to work ok? 57% of people liking situps?! eh?

And I can't believe there's more than the one person who, for example, knows what a 'Dumbbell Fly' is... let alone an 'Incline'd one. Blimey.

Yeah - my poll created more discussion about the poll than about weights!

Dumbell fly is kinda self-explantory, you fly like a bird. But some of them I really have no idea.
Toe press- is that like a thumb screw?

It must have taken a long time to type all those in...
