| The 2005 Atlantic Rowing Race from the Canary Islands to the West Indies begins this Sunday, the 27th. Ex-captains Rich Dewire and Dan Darley are rowing as team 'Atlantic Prince', competing against around 50 other crews (including Olympic Gold medalist James Cracknell rowing with BBC presenter Ben Fogle). This week is your last chance to win £1000 by correctly guessing how long it will take! Rich and Dan need every ounce of support to help cover their costs of competing and for their nominated charities Cancer Research UK and Make a Wish Foundation, so please head to their website www.atlanticprince.com and enter before it's too late! | Dan Darley and Rich Dewire have broken the Concept II world record for 1,000,000m on an indoor rowing machine! They finished at 10:32 a.m. this morning with a total time of 3 days 17 minutes - an incredible achievement and breaking the previous record by 4 hours 31 seconds. They have rowed alternately since 10:15 Sunday morning, swapping every 1 to 2 hours and catching whatever sleep and rest they could between turns. The record attempt has also helped to raise the profile of their entry in the Atlantic Rowing Race, beginning later this month, the 2003 winners of which were the previous 1,000,000m record holders. | The Captains and Committee of First and Third Trinity BC are proud to announce that, as of today, the Club will be sponsored by JPMorgan. The Committee are looking forward to working closely and successfully with our new sponsors. We are currently organising an event to celebrate our partnership, at which Club members will have the opportunity to meet with JPMorgan representatives.
