We won this last year. Stern four were ready to go again. Unfortunately, we were short due to injury, with Iwo and Andrey both racing twice today
Marshalling was fine, and we set off nicely.
Hearing 5 minutes in just after the top of the reach is rather disheartening, but we dig in and drive, managing to build back up to 36 by the finish.
Nearly 50 seconds slower than last year, and the boat doesn't quite feel even, nor does the effort feel well-distributed. Being beaten by a Caius 4+ is a little disheartening, but we've seen the amount of blues kit in that boat.
It's a place to start, and the best way to go from here is up.
