A tidy row, with good guts in the first half. Lost some legs by the time they got to the Railway Bridge, but carried it to the line. Great job by Sam Gerrard on the coaching front: notably the most together crew on the river today.
Seeing Arnaldo enter college through the Angel Court gate at 7am did not quite bode well. We counselled an hours sleep over attending photos.
The race was good fun, and felt strong despite the cold. Hearing "ARNALDO, SIT UP" after 500m was maybe not quite reassuring, but we held it together.
It was disappointing not to win, we know that it could have been possible, and that we were a strong crew.
Afterwards, the stairs up to Angel Court were hard.
