This was a very impressive result; finishing just 12 seconds off NM1 is a huge achievement, especially with Luca's broken seat only allowing him to move only between front-stops and half-slide. This has capped off an excellent term of rowing for NM2, who have placed 1st, 2nd, and 2nd in their three events.
I think no other novice crew this term captures the word "brave" quite as well - NM2 threw absolutely everything right from the beginning, hitting rate 38 off the start and only finished 12 seconds behind NM1 despite their technical difficulties - congratulations on the result guys!
