A timed head race from the Motorway Bridge to the Railway Bridge (approx 2k)
Now changed to a 2k race.

2nd men's VIII (2nd VIIIs): 3rd in Category, 9th Overall
Invictus (Lower VIIIs): 1st in category, 17th

Robinson Head
Fri 6th February
A timed head race from The Plough to Peter's Post.
The last timed head race on the Cam before Lents - and a useful form guide with many college boats competing.

Invictus (Men's 3rd): 1st in category, 12th overall

Sat 7th February
An important regional 5000m timed head race
Several of the top college crews travel to race at Peterborough, for this invariably unpleasant but key race in preparation for the bumps.

Pembroke Regatta
Sat 14th February
A side-by-side knock out regatta on the reach, over 1100m
An event for college crews run in 3 divisions. For many crews, the last race practice before the bumps, and a popular event.

2nd women's VIII (2nd division): Bye in the 1st round and Beaten by Trinity Hall W2 in the 2nd round
Invictus (3rd division): Raced 5 rounds: Beat LMBC M3 in the final
3rd women's VIII (3rd division): Beaten by Christ's W3 in the 1st round
4th men's VIII (3rd division): Bye in the 1st round and Beaten by Emmanuel M3 in the 2nd round

Lent Bumps Getting-on Race

The 2000m qualifying race for the Lent Bumps
The Lent Bumps are the focus of the term for college rowing, but only those boats finishing sufficiently high in last year's races are automatically entered. All other crews must compete for the remaining places available.

The famous Cambridge University Bumps on the River Cam
The focus of the year so far. The Lent Bumps are smaller and less prestigious than the May Bumps, but nevertheless involve 57 men's and 46 women's crews.

Down 4 - Bumped by Emmanuel, Christ's, Jesus and Downing
2nd men's VIII: 11th in division 2

Head of the River Race
Sun 29th March
A huge head race on the Tideway (tidal river Thames) over the University Boat Race course
The largest annual VIIIs head race in the country, attracting most rowing clubs and many University and College crews. The course is 4 1/2 miles, from Mortlake to Putney.

1st men's VIII (In3): 158th overall; 34rd in IM3 category; Halladay position 31
2nd men's VIII (In3): 206 overall; 49 in IM3 category; Halladay position 48
