Tit Hall B had clearly heard how good 1st and 3rd B were, and wisely decided to scratch. The guys decided that they'd still like to row over the course for practice, and performed strongly with a technical and controlled race.
Quarter finals

Beat LMBC C
LMBC C had already claimed the scalps of two B teams, so 1st and 3rd were determined to put an end to their run. A strong performance saw 1st and 3rd a length up at the railway bridge. LMBC then demonstrated a worrying burst of speed towards the finish, but 1st and 3rd held on to claim the win.
Semi finals

Lost to Christs B
1st and 3rd B produced their usual quick start and pushed hard to the railway bridge, passing through half a length up. However, Christ's made the most of the inside bend, and pulled through in the last 100 metres to win by quarter of a length.
Although it was disappointing to lose this close race, altogether 1st and 3rd B put in a highly convincing performance and did extremely well to reach the last 4.
