Bedford Autumn Fours Head

A 2000m timed head race on the Great Ouse
A few college senior IVs generally travel to Bedford for this race practice, and generally perform well.

1st men's IV (College IV+): Winners of College IVs; 2nd fastest IV+
2nd men's IV (College IV+): Somewhere in the middle

University IVs
Mon 27th October - Sat 1st November
A knockout competition for Cambridge College IVs over 2800m (light IVs), 2000m (men's coxed IVs) or 1300m (women's coxed IVs)
For College senior crews, traditionally the most prestigious event of term, and the main focus of the first half of term for the better senior College crews.

Light IV (Light IVs): 2nd to LMBC in the final
1st men's IV (1st division): Raced 4 rounds: Beat Fitzwilliam (16s) in the final
2nd men's IV (2nd division): Raced 3 rounds: Lost to Darwin (3s) in the semi finals
3rd men's IV (2nd division): Lost to Wolfson (45s) in the 1st round

Head of the River IVs
Sat 8th November
A National timed headrace on the tideway (Thames)
Some of the top College IVs generally compete in this large and challenging event.

Cambridge Autumn Head

A 2600m timed head race on the Cam
Attracting many town clubs and some college crews.

1st/2nd VIII (College VIIIs): 7th of 36 VIIIs

1st men's IV (Senior3 IV+): Winners of S3 IV+; fastest IV+

Cambridge Winter Head

A 2600m timed headrace on the Cam
Open to all clubs, for colleges the Winter Head is useful race practice for the 'Fairbairns', and the first experience of racing for some of the novice crews.

1st men's VIII (Senior VIIIs): Joint winners with Fitzwilliam; 5th overall
2nd men's VIII (Lower VIIIs): Fastest 2nd VIII; 28th overall
1st men's novice VIII (Novice VIIIs): 2nd fastest Novice VIII; 64th overall
Fun VIII (Lower VIIIs): 144th overall

Magdalene Silver Pairs

A 2000m knock-out regatta for coxless pairs in the chasing format
The Magdalene Silver Pairs is the more prestigious of the two University pairs events.

Kaye/Arnold: Beat Caran/Fawcett - Homerton (11s) in the semi finals and Lost to Flohr/Sweetman - Wolfson (59s) in the final
