1st women's VIII, Senior VIIIs

1st men's VIII, Senior VIIIs

1st overall
Time: 14:15
Wound to 41, settled to 35! - very comfortable. The race went absolutely according to race plan. We dropped to 33 a couple of times but lifted back every time. Going round Ditton Raf said 10mins and 13 going round 1st Post (14 in the practice course!). I knew it was going to be quick. Raf clocked us at 14:15. (Matt)

2nd men's VIII, Lower VIIIs

Winners of Lower VIIIs; 17th of 57 men's VIIIs
Time: 15:06
Credit goes to them for being hard! (Matt)
This was a fantastic row with Clive setting an excellent rhythm and everyone working really hard behind. We had nothing like the experience of the 1st VIII and only Beary (who had noviced that term yet lied his way into the senior squad!) was remotely powerful. However, we finished within a minute of their winning time and beat many 1st VIIIs as well as all the 2nd VIIIs and every Oxford college bar Oriel.

One of my most satisfying race results (Ingram)

32nd of 57 men's VIIIs

They rowed 4 strokes before the start, and started at 26, gradually winding up over the course. (Matt)

1st men's novice VIII, Lower VIIIs

53rd of 57 men's VIIIs
Time: 17:48
Always comedy to fool other colleges into thinking we have more boats than we do. (Matt)
