Not out I say said: Right. Who was scoring at the cricket and who typed in the score card? I believe the score card isn't quite finished - I'm not sure Neil intended that it be online yet, so some mistakes are thereby my fault. That said, I guess he would be happy to hear any corrections... Neil?

Right. Who was scoring at the cricket and who typed in the score card?
Very disappointed to see that my innings now ends with "run out" - I was standing by the other stumps when the ball was thrown in.

mjb said: In 1999, FaT II were immediately behind Catz I. Indeed. We had two row-overs behind Catz 1 on the Friday and Saturday evenings. On Friday, we didn't row particularly well and rowed over on station. On the Saturday, the crew was effectively down to 7 rowers from before Ditton as I was suffering from food poisoning which I'd picked up from Bella Pasta the night before. Despite this, we still rowed over on station with Catz. Of all the "What if..."s that suround bumps, this one - "What if I'd been healthy?" is the one that still hurts the most.
So yes, it is the 1999 2nd VIII's fault, but in turn, we blame Bella Pasta.

If we'd bumped you then, you wouldn't have been in a position to bump us yesterday

Hurrah Hurrah Hurrah Hurrah!!!!!!!!!!!
That was the first time ever that Catz have bumped you guys. Apparently Catz can now have your boat house. I've already put a claim on the lard cupboard and maybe the weights room so I can perve at you when you get changed in our tiny old crappy boat house. Well done to the 2nd and 3rds. You deserved it.

Any chance of that Elvis remix from the Nike advert (would make a change to have something from this week's charts!) plus something related to England football - they will have been playing that day after all (cf June 2000).

Anna said: Is Ray the Barber a little known rowing guru who is giving you all psychological preparation for the Mays? Reminds me of that shoe-shine guy Frank Drebin would always go and see in Police Squad

Good to see the men are making an effort for the Mays this year. I've only been in my kitchen twice today but the first time Mr Glass was having his tresses tamed and the second Mr Talbott. What gives? Is this some kind of crew bonding? Is Ray the Barber a little known rowing guru who is giving you all psychological preparation for the Mays? Who knows? It's a very suspicious.
(Should perhaps clarify that my kitchen looks over All Saints Passage and that Ray hasn't set up shop in the gyp room).

And how about Smooth by Santana. Also, We are the Champions is always the best song to end on, but is kind of dependant on a successful Bumps...

Oh good lord. I had no idea how much big cheese lovin' went on out there. It's amazing. The message board is becoming a musical education in itself.
Can we have Waterloo? Please?

Additions........ said: On a more cheesy note.... Spandau Ballet's Gold, and Build me up Buttercup. Yey, Build me up is quality, however being as its catz college song i wouldn't recommend playing it after we bump you:)
I think Insomnia is a more relevant Faithless song but We come one is top class and gets my vote every time

Anyone else watch Match of the World Cup last night? Some great early 90s music there... Which leads me to suggest: Unbelievable by EMF. Or, a song that topped the charts in the same week that Unbelievable was released - The KLF's 3am Eternal.

I forgot to request Eye Of The Tiger
