May Bumps, May Term 2008re At station 1 (the red bridge really spoils it..) by dw229 - Thu 12th Jun 2008, 10:58pm I can't believe the Maggie scum (?) have painted over the motorway bridge! I haven't been to Cam for ages so admittedly it may have happened some time ago... :) Still, it reminds me of what a great effort it was to get it painted in the first place. Perhaps it's time for an account of the FATASS project on a member's only part of the website? (7 comments...) | ||

Fairbairns Dinner, Mich Term 1999re Ready for dinner! by Simon - Sat 8th Mar 2008, 3:34pm This had never been done before and we weren't sure it would work. Luckily we found a great caterer who was a big help and was able to set up a kitchen in the weights room and one of the boat bays. We combined it with the boat naming earlier the same day and thus subsidised the costs. Every part of the boathouse and the entire fleet was cleaned, the decorations went up (NB the attempts to make the lights blue and gold), and on the previous Saturday Sophie and I had filled her car with alcohol from a French supermarket. I was so chuffed to walk into the boathouse and find it looking like this. |
