Surely it reflects a much more positive attitude if we call the "DRAW" options "RETAIN"?

Given the action so far, "DRAW" still sounds pretty positive to me ;-)

As does "LOSE: England 0 - 4 Australia" right now.

You know, I really love the English spirit of optimism. We've only played 8% of the series, and already we're getting this - can we stop being so defeatist?

In the continued spirit of defeatism, I should point out that we've played at least 8%...

The opening overs of the final day in Adelaide failed to support pessimists who believed England were about to collapse to Shane Warne. With half an hour gone...
Got to love newspapers having early deadlines. That was in this morning's FT.

When can we start being pessimistic?

You can't blame Monty for getting run out. We needed quick runs this morning after all if we were to force a win.

Anyone still feeling pessimistic, could I point out that Australia need 46 to win, and England have bowled them out for a lower score than that no fewer than three times in Test matches, most recently here. Come on boys!
