The Club's Results

Most definitely a race to be proud of! We hit it hard off the start with rate reaching the high 30s / low 40s, and settled only a punchy 34. The commitment in the boat was great with each and every one of us giving our all. We all reacted well to calls and had a great line though all of our corners. Sadly Christ's moving slower off the start ahead of us made for a race in their wash for a large proportion of the course which was anything other than ideal. Coming through the railway bridge we had a massive push bringing the rate up by a pip to come across the line in an extremely close 3rd. BRING ON FAIRBAIRNS!!! (B.C. Ladd)
