Fairbairn Junior Sculls
Tue 22nd - Wed 23rd April
A 2000m knock-out regatta in the 'chasing' format for single sculls

JPA in a single scull (women's): Lost to Lucas (Catz) by an overtake in the final
PWF in his single scull (men's): Beat Nelson (Catz) by `half a length' in the quarter finals and Lost to Wood (Pembroke) by 1.5 lengths in the semi finals

Maiden Sculls
Tue 22nd April
500m side by side race in singles for women who have not entered a sculling race before.
The junior sculling event during the CUCBC Small Boats regatta

JPA in a single scull (Women's): Lost to Littlewood (Caius) by 1.5 lengths in the semi finals and Beat Watts by half the course in the plate final

Lowe Double Sculls
Tue 22nd April
Held over the 2km course from Little Bridge to the posts downstream of the railway bridge. Part of the small boats regatta. Open to mens, womens and mixed crews.

Double sculls (Mixed 2x): Beat Lucas-Temple (Catz) by about 80m in the final

Head of the Cam
Sat 26th April
A timed headrace on the Cam for college and town crews
Useful early term race practice and the first hint of form for the May Bumps.

Cambridge Head-2-Head
Sat 3rd May
A timed headrace in two parts, length 2x2000m.
Early May term race practice for many college crews.

Etape Caledonia
Sun 11th May
133km cycle race
1200m ascent. Shut up legs!

Black Prince Cycling Club (Road Bike): Bunch Finish - 426th, 427th and 429th

Champion of the Thames Eights Head
Sat 17th May
A Head race for eights from the Plough Pub to the Penny Ferry.
The premier on Cam competition of the year. With alcohol based prizes for best bumps start, best line round Ditton - as well as for finish position.

Cambridge 99's Regatta
Sun 25th May
A side by side knock out regatta along the reach over 800m
A fun summer regatta for college VIIIs. Unfortunately not all that many crews are able to enter, though, because of exam pressures!

1st men's VIII (1st division): Lost to Peterhouse by 1 1/4 lengths in the quarter finals and Beat Catz by not crabbing. Then had impromptu race to the finish line, started by a game of chicken, which we won by "a canvas" in the plate final
1st women's VIII (1st division): Beat Selwyn W1 (3/4 length) in the heats and Lost to LMBC W1 (2 lengths) in the semi finals
2nd men's VIII (2nd division): Won easily in the quarter finals and Lost to Magdalene M1 by 1 and a half lengths (?) in the semi finals

May Bumps

The highlight of the college rowing calendar involving a total of over 1500 students - with 63 competitors from Trinity

1st men's VIII: 6th in division 1
Stayed level - Bumped St. Catharine's, bumped by Pembroke
1st women's VIII: 6th in division 1
Up 1 - Bumped Newnham
2nd men's VIII: 13th in division 2
Down 3 - Bumped by Jesus II, Hughes Hall and Darwin
2nd women's VIII: 12th in division 3
Up 2 - Bumped Pembroke III and Newnham III
3rd men's VIII: 8th in division 3
Down 1 - Bumped by LMBC III
4th men's VIII: 2nd in division 5
Down 3 - Bumped Trinity Hall III, bumped by Sidney Sussex II and Jesus IV

Cardboard boat race
