FaT Ergs, 1st division

Came 5th
Time: 13:22
Due to the cancellation of Fours Head, there were two CUBC crews racing Time-Only, so we actually came third.

Losing to LMBC by four seconds isn't quite optimal, but beating Catz by 0.4 seconds was great. I was the anchor leg, and I did lose ground over the race, being quite tired for unspecified reasons. Still, going from 13m up to 2m up in the first 350m just meant that I had to hold on in the last 150. Which I did. Who needs triallists anyway?

LMBC had a (GB powerlifting) alumnus racing, so we won a moral victory as well.
(Thomas Frith)
Notable exceptions to Thomas' report include the fact that despite being glad we beet Catz, he did scream "for the wheel" during my leg of the erg. Oh yeah and the 4 lock runs the morning of Qergs.  (Philippa)
