Queens' Novice Ergo Competition, Mich Term 2002
A 500m team ergo competition for Novice VIIIs

First and Third dominate Queens ergs!
Both the men's novice crews which went to Queens Ergs performed brilliantly. For the first time in recent memory the 1st crew were overall winners! The 2nd crew also performed superbly, only beaten by Churchill's fastest VIII in the 2nd division competition.
The Women's novices also performed well, coming 4th overall in the 1st division final.

The second VIII would have beaten Churchill A, but unfortunately Churchill B were somewhat faster and won the 2nd division by some 17 seconds.
Notably our crew were faster than all the 2nd crews in the 1st division - beating the Maggie scum by 0.8 of a second.
