| Why are the CUCBC flags funny colours now? In recent times we have had 'The flag is GDBO' and the 'The flag is Cambridge Blue'. Do these mean anything or is it a joke? (4 replies...) | |

| According to ITV's commentary yesterday, Oxford had a pump in the boat while Cambridge didn't. Could anyone with insider knowledge please confirm whether this is accurate, and if so, what this pump looks like and how it is fitted / operated? And was Cambridge's decision not to fit one tactical or was there some other reason? (18 replies...) | |

| The Tideway Slug reports that Cambridge race against Leander in a fixture this weekend. Normally the support for Cambridge would be unequivocal, but I also note that Leander is to be coxed by 1+3 alumnus Steph Richards. Maybe we could hope for a Cambridge victory, but made much closer because of Leander's steering? (3 replies...) | |

| The Varsity Football Match 2006 has been confirmed for April 2nd 2006, at Fulham's Craven Cottage ground at 1pm. That is three hours before the Boat Race starts on the river behind the ground. It should be a fantastic day in London for all Cambridge students, and the Football Club would appreciate your support. Tickets are £10 which gives you access to the newly re-developed Fulham village; a complex of bars, restaurants and cafes, match programme, Riverside Stand seating for the match and prime viewing space on the Riverside Terrace for the Goldie and Isis Race which is due to start at 4pm, and the 152nd University Boat Race, due to start at 4.35pm. | It's cool, well done people. Just alarmed that it apeared between midnight Saturday night and 7am Sunday morning - it's bad enought that I have to work over the weekend (and thus engage work avoidance tactics like looking at the website) - hope you managed to get some sleep! (50 replies...) | |
