For example Macquarie/Goldie, Isis/IC and Brookes/Hartford sound more like second round races, and I'd expect any of the middle four of those to beat Glasgow, assuming a good Brookes crew and not just the left-overs. Glasgow were v strong at BUSA this year and obviously they get my home support ;o) so I'm not suggesting for a moment that they'll be a walkover. As usual, can't say much about the foreign boats, but I think the FaT crew looking at this draw have a lot more hope of a Thursday appearance than (for example!) last year. OTOH, any draw would have given FaT more of a chance than last year ! |
