? why bonus points for small boats? (unless it's a pair) I can easily rate higher (and lower) in a single that we ever manage in an eight... not saying it's efficient or anything though...

i'm interested to see how the 56+ was achieved. was it an efficient rate? how long was it before it all fell apart and tears were shed?

Tears weren't shed. Wasn't even vaguely efficient - but still kept up with the people we'd bumped that day who were doing firm!
