I'm not disputing that the Mass of the Sun is 1 Solar Mass. Is 1 Solar Mass = 1 Erg dyne per cm^2 as per Will's post?? Given that 1 Erg = 10^-7 Joules, 1 dyne is 10^-5 Newtons, and 1 cm^2 = 10^-4 m^2 Presumably 1 Erg dyne per cm^2 = 10^-8 kg m^3 s^-4 - which doesn't look like a unit of mass. Or am I just getting confused |
