Newnham Short Course
Sat 2nd February
A timed head race from the Motorway Bridge to the Railway Bridge (approx 2k)
Only a subset of college crews race, due to the short head course offered

2nd women's VIII (Lower VIIIs): joint 3rd second VIII
4th men's VIII (Lower VIIIs): 11th lower VIII; fastest M4

Robinson Head
Fri 8th February
A timed head race from The Plough to Peter's Post.
The last timed head race on the Cam before Lents - and a useful form guide with many college boats competing.

1st women's VIII (1st division): Fastest women's VIII; 12th overall
2nd men's VIII (1st division): Fastest second VIII; 6th overall
3rd men's VIII (1st division): 1st college third VIII; 8th overall
4th men's VIII (1st division): Fastest 4th VIII; 23rd overall
5th men's VIII (1st division): Fastest 5th VIII; 22nd overall

Pembroke Regatta
Sat 16th February
A side-by-side knock out regatta on the reach, over 1100m
An event for college crews run in 3 divisions. For many crews, the last race practice before the bumps, and a popular event.

1st men's VIII (1st division): Raced 5 rounds: Lost to Caius M1 by 1 length (at least) in the final
1st women's VIII (1st division): Raced 4 rounds: Lost to Downing W1 by 1 length in the semi finals
2nd men's VIII (2nd division): Raced 5 rounds: Lost to Caius M2 by a canvas in the final
2nd women's VIII (2nd division): lost to Homerton W2 by 3 lengths in the 1st round
3rd men's VIII (3rd division): Raced 5 rounds: Beat Clare M3 by 2 1/2 lengths in the final
4th men's VIII (3rd division): Beat Hughes Hall M3 Easily in the 1st round and Lost to Clare Hall M2 by 4 lengths (aka 3's footplate) in the 2nd round
5th men's VIII (3rd division): Lost to King's M3 easily in the 1st round
6th men's VIII (3rd division): Lost to Queens' M4 by 4 lengths in the 1st round

Lent Bumps Getting-on Race

The 2000m qualifying race for the Lent Bumps
The Lent Bumps are the focus of the term for college rowing, but only those boats finishing higher than 18th from the bottom of last year's races are automatically entered. All other crews must compete for the 18 places available.

5th men's VIII: 6th Fastest Non-Qualifying
6th men's VIII: 13th Fastest Non-Qualifying

Lent Bumps

The famous Cambridge University Bumps on the River Cam
The focus of the year so far. The Lent Bumps are smaller and less prestigious than the May Bumps, but nevertheless involve 69 men's and 52 women's crews.

Stayed level - Bumped LMBC II, bumped by Homerton

Down 1 - Bumped Churchill II, bumped by Churchill II and Jesus III

Stayed level - Bumped Magdalene III, bumped by St. Catharine's III

Cardinal's Regatta

A fun post bumps regatta for mixed crews, with head starts for crews in fancy dress and widescale bribery of marshalls and race officials...!
