A game of Association Football between a team selected from the rowers of First and Third Trinity BC, and a team selected from the (former) rowers of Black Prince BC

University IVs
Mon 24th - Fri 28th October
A knockout competition for Cambridge College IVs over 2800m (light IVs), 2000m (men's coxed IVs) or 1300m (women's coxed IVs)
For College senior crews, traditionally the most prestigious event of term, and the main focus of the first half of term for the better senior College crews.

Light IV (Light IVs): Lost to LMBC by 39s in the final
1st women's IV (1st division): Lost to Downing W1 in the quarter finals

Queens' Novice Ergo Competition
Tue 8th November
A 500m team ergo competition for Novice & Senior VIIIs
The first taste of competition for the novice squads, most of the college boat clubs enter their novice crews in to this fun event.

Cambridge Winter Head
Sat 19th November
A timed head race over 2300m, from the Motorway bridge to the Pike & Eel
For senior crews this is the final race preparation for Fairbairns and can be a valuable form guide; for a few novice crews, a chance to try out racing before the upcoming Clare Novice Regatta.

A side-by-side knock out regatta for Cambridge College novice (beginner) VIIIs
With just a week before Novice Fairbairns, the "Clare Novices" offer all-important race practice and exciting side by side racing. Most college novice VIIIs enter.

1st men's novice VIII (Cup): Raced 5 rounds: Lost to LMBC by 1 length in the semi finals
1st women's novice VIII (1st division): Raced 4 rounds: Lost to Downing A by 1/2 length in the semi finals
2nd men's novice VIII (Cup): Beat Homerton A Easily in the 1st round and Lost to Caius by 1 length in the 2nd round
3rd men's novice VIII (Plate): Raced 3 rounds: Lost to ARU B Easily in the quarter finals
4th men's novice VIII (1st division): Lost to Selwyn B by 4 lengths in the plate 1st round

Novice Fairbairn Cup

A 2700m timed head race on the Cam for Cambridge College novice VIIIs
The main focus for Michaelmas term for all novice crews at Cambridge University.

1st women's novice VIII (1st division): 13th place out of 60 Boats
2nd women's novice VIII (2nd division): 42nd, 14th Excluding NW1s

The main focus of Michaelmas term for all Cambridge college senior crews.
