The Club's Results

Failure to realise we could enter trialists meant we didn't put ourselves in the best position off the start. We all enjoyed reliving novice days and Gonzalo and Matt had their own separate rate competition at the end which Matt won with a rate of 62. We finished a respectable 4th 0.04s behind third with all our crew pulling times within 20s of each other.

4th overall, which is pretty amusing tbh. We turned up, and then discovered that in fact triallists were allowed, so we realised we were on a bit of a downer there, however we seemed pretty solid in the middle of the field, until Matt decided to show everybody what happens when his forearms haven't blown by winding to low sixties and overtaking 3 crews in about 100m. Whether we only overtook them on the screen I don't know, as I thought we'd finished 3rd, but hey.
