Nottingham City Regatta
Sat 6th May
A high profile 2000m multilane regatta at the National Watersports centre in Nottingham
Four or five college boatclubs generally travel to Nottingham to experience multilane racing. Racing is held on two separate days; we send one men's crew to race on Saturday.

1st men's VIII, g fisher for case: Failed to get to the start in the 1st round

Bedford Regatta
Sat 13th May
A knock out side by side regatta over 1200m
A large event attracting many college, university and club crews from Oxford, Cambridge and beyond.

1st men's VIII (College VIIIs): Lost to Emmanuel (1 1/2 lengths) in the 2nd round
1st men's VIII (Senior3 VIII): Beat Exeter College, Oxford (1 1/2 lengths) in the 1st round and Lost to a huge Loughborough crew in the 2nd round
2nd men's VIII (College VIIIs): Lost to somebody in the 1st round and Won by default when Pembroke A went home early in the plate final
2nd men's VIII (Senior4 VIIIs): Beat Broxborne in the 1st round and Lost to Radley (a length or two) in the 2nd round

Cam Sprints
Sun 14th May
A fun 400m sprint regatta held by the boathouses
If the sun is shining the Cam sprints can be a fun day by the river, with short exciting races.

1st VIII Cam Sprints IV A (Senior2 IV+): Beat 1st & 3rd B in the semi finals and Beat Nines in the final
1st VIII Cam Sprints IV B (Senior2 IV+): Lost to 1st & 3rd A in the semi finals
The Light Four (Novice IV+): Lost to 1st & 3rd (3/4 length) in the final
2nd VIII Cam Sprints IV (Novice IV+): Beat 1st & 3rd (3/4 length) in the final

Cambridge 99's Regatta
Sun 28th May
A side by side knock out regatta along the reach over 1000m
A fun summer regatta for college VIIIs. Quite a few usually enter considering nearly everyone has exams!

1st men's VIII (1st division): Scratched due to too many injuries
1st women's VIII (2nd division): Beat Darwin (easily) in the semi finals and Beat Emmanuel II (easily) in the final
2nd men's VIII (1st division): Lost to Clare (easily) in the 1st round and Rowed over to victory in the plate final
2nd women's VIII (3rd division): Lost to Caius II (easily) in the semi finals and Lost to Newnham II (easily) in the plate final
3rd women's VIII (4th division): Beat Sidney Sussex II (easily) in the 1st round and Lost to Caius III (easily) in the semi finals
6th men's VIII (4th division): Raced 3 rounds: Lost to King's II (easily) in the plate final

May Bumps
Wed 14th - Sat 17th June
The famous Cambridge University May Bumps on the River Cam
The highlight of the college rowing calendar involving a total of over 1500 students - 100 at Trinity.

Henley Royal Regatta
Wed 28th June - Sun 2nd July
The historic, famous and prestigious international regatta for men's crews on the River Thames in Oxfordshire
College crews usually enter the 'Temple Cup' - a competition for student VIIIs. Although nowadays it is most unlikely that a College will win an event, clubs aspire to race and perhaps win a round or two past the famous enclosures. The top 2 or 3 Mays crews are often invited to attend, whilst others must earn a place in the qualifying race.

1st men's VIII, blackburn for glass, were for case (Temple Cup): Lost out by 1 second in the qualifying
