Head of the Cam
Sat 25th April
A timed headrace on the Cam for college and town crews
An early chance to size up the opposition for the Mays.

Nottingham City Regatta
Sat 9th May
A high profile 2000m multilane regatta at the National Watersports centre in Nottingham
Four or five college boatclubs generally travel to Nottingham to experience multilane racing. Racing is held on two separate days.

1st men's VIII, wilde for brown, swartz for stokes (Senior3 VIII): Lost to Bedford School (canvas) in the final
2nd men's VIII (Novice VIIIs): Beat Newcastle in the semi finals and Beat Durham in the final

Cam Sprints
Sun 24th May
A fun 400m sprint regatta held by the boathouses
If the sun is shining the Cam sprints can be a fun day by the river, with short exciting races.

2nd men's VIII: Raced 3 rounds: Lost to Emmanuel (1/2 length) in the plate final

Cambridge 99's Regatta
Sat 30th May
A side by side knock out regatta along the reach over 1000m
A fun summer regatta for college VIIIs. Quite a few usually enter considering nearly everyone has exams!

1st men's VIII (1st division): Beat Christ's (4 lengths) in the semi finals and Beat Queens' (6 inches) in the final
1st women's VIII (2nd division): Beat Jesus II (1/2 length) in the semi finals and Lost to CCAT (1 3/4 lengths) in the final
2nd men's VIII (2nd division): Beat Homerton (canvas) in the quarter finals and Lost to Churchill II (3/4 length) in the semi finals
2nd women's VIII (3rd division): Raced 3 rounds: Lost to St. Catharine's II (1/3 length) in the plate final
3rd men's VIII (3rd division): Beat Magdalene II (2 lengths) in the semi finals and Lost to Wolfson (3/4 length) in the final
3rd women's VIII (3rd division): Lost to Girton II (easily) in the 1st round and Lost to Magdalene II (easily) in the plate 1st round
4th men's VIII (4th division): Raced 3 rounds: Beat Homerton II (2 1/2 lengths) in the plate final
7th men's VIII (4th division): Raced 3 rounds: Lost to 1st & 3rd IV (easily) in the plate semi fianls
9th men's VIII (4th division): Lost to Downing IV (1 1/2 lengths) in the quarter finals and Lost to Homerton II (easily) in the semi finals

May Bumps Getting-on Race
Fri 5th June
The 2000m qualifying race for the May Bumps
Entries in the bumps without positions in the finishing order of the May bumps last year, and up to 10 crews at the bottom of the last divisions, have to compete over a head race to "get on" to the bumps.

The highlight of the college rowing calendar involving a total of over 1500 students - 100 at Trinity.
