We were very happy with this race and we all enjoyed going off-Cam for the first time as a crew. The power never dropped during the race. The rate started at 36 and the lowest it reached was 31 for a few strokes about 1500m in. We came in close to many other college VIIIs that were there and were pleased to have improved relative to our competitors since Newnham Head last weekend. Progress is still to be made but we know where and how we can make up time.
