Despite having the joint-fastest single 500 (thank you James Brownlie!), it was not to be. We won our ‘group’ of entrants, but unfortunately were crushed, losing by 35 seconds to Maggie. Thankfully, we beat our own senior crew by over 30 seconds.
Note that this had a sequential format, with the erg continually recording timing, so changeover periods were rather important. (Yes, this was prompted by comparing this time to that of previous years).
