The 2000m qualifying race for the Lent Bumps

1st & 3rd V - the only 5th VIII in the Lents!
The 5th men's VIII row on in style. Times are only published for those crews who do not 'get-on', but the 6th men's VIII has performed quite superbly and is currently joint fastest non-qualifier - despite there being only one other 5th or 6th VIII entered! The women's 2nd VIII is similarly unlucky to not qualify, but performed very well to be highly placed.

2nd fastest of the 19 non-qualifiers

The crew had a good row, looking technically very competent and obviously putting lots of work down. With so much disruption this term due to weather, illness and injury I am even more pleased with the result and I really think they have done well. There was a lot of competition for only 9 spaces so to be second fastest non-qualifier is very respectable.
