This is amazing!! We put the pressure down, we kept a really good rhythm and now we are in THE BUMPS!!! Not only that, we are officially the best Lent term 3rd womens EVER!!
This is what we worked for, now lets show em what Fat 3W can do!!

Event: Emma Sprints 2007 - Division 1

It was bad luck that we 'lost'. But for probably the first time in the history of Emma Sprints I was told that we could make a formal complaint as it was a really tough call!!
The start was really good, you looked calm and worked really well together. The second half of the race was not quite so good and the timing was a bit all over the place, but still good work. Was great to see you finish first, even if you didnt officialy win :)
You should all be proud of you first on the water race!!

so so so so pleased with this result! The highs and lows of the day have considerably shortened my life expectancy.

You had a good 'first race' which highlighted a few problems to work on so we were quite confident rowing up to race.
Unfortunatly circumstances resulting in a return trip to the boat house and you narrowly missing the final (thank goodness Rachel pursuaded the marshalls to wait). But despite the stress you put it all behind you and had an amazing race. The start was much better and everyone kept eyes in the boat and never let them get away.
Keep up the good work and I will be on the bank for bumps!!
