Unfortunately not as victorious today as on Thursday, half a length behind for most of the second half of the race, but unfortunately couldn't muster that extra push to win it, at least partly due to 7's crabbing problems (really sorry about that guys!)

Event: Novice Fairbairn Cup 2005 - 1st division

Excellent race, beating a total of 8 first crews!!! Well done lads, I think we allknow how well we did, after seeing how knackered we were after the finishing line.

Also, the row back was fantastic, with may I say, a rather excellent substitute cox, when he wasn't nearly breakin Titan!

Event: Novice Fairbairn Cup 2005 - 2nd division

Well done lads, excellent cornering around Chesterton Corner, just a shame we couldn't beat the thirds. The only fourth crew to beat us was Queens', but we spanked their third crew, so there has obviously mean some error in labelling. On a lihter note, we did beat 8 first crews!

By the way, Richard, I love the fact we had over 20 "push for 10"s over a 300 stroke race.

Event: Pembroke Regatta 2006 - 3rd division

We were cruising along about 3/4 length in frnt for most of the race until disaster struck on our "push for 10" off the bridge, virtually the entirety of stroke-side lost their seats, giving St. Edmund's the chance to catch up and us losing by about one seat. Well done anyway guys, on a positive note, no-one crabbed!

Event: Lent Bumps Getting-on Race 2006 -

Unlucky guys, I thought the row went really well and we all tried our hardest, it's a shame we didn't get on. We'll just have to get back to rowing to ensure we can get on for the May bumps!

On a different note, can I point out all pictures of me in lycra were taken at a bad angle and that the camera adds 10 pounds, there were two cameras so that makes me look a stone and a half heavier.
