We won pots!!! Best row of term (by a very long way) - now we know we can do it, hopefully all our outings will be miles better.

A really good row, and a shame their competition was described as "a 10 legged caterpillar" and "an epileptic spider", so they didn't have any competition. They held it well and were strong throughout the race, recovering from crabbing incidents well.

An amazing row. You kept your focus even though they had a slightly better start than you. The power stayed in the water keeping you neck and neck for the first half. You kept it there all the way to the end, getting a good lead by the railway bridge and extending it to the end.

We're so proud of you girls

Very scrappy rowing (to match the weather), but the power was still going down and we finished about a length clear

We went into this one being more relaxed having seen that our time was fastest from the heats. We rowed much better and it really felt like we were moving together. Again we won by about a length and hopefully this is the sort of rowing that we'll be taking into next week!

Racing in an old wooden boat for the first time we realised the rigging was set wrong and noone was able to hold in their finishes. Kerrie was also struggling as her blade was broken so was bending on the wrong side of the gate! However, for a "1k" race the time was still good.

This race was side by side with two other crews. The weight of our boat meant we were down off the start, but we gained steadily throughout the race and pushes on the legs helped us go on to win, giving us 3rd place overall. A much more satisfying race than earlier in the day.

Rowed over. The boats ahead bumped out in front of us meaning a wide corner round grassy had to be taken. ARU 3 crews behind caught up some distance, but the girls kept the pressure on all the way to the finish, never letting them get closer than 3-4 lengths.
