Now held at Dorney, a very popular event with crews from all round the country. Sat 3rd May A timed headrace on the Cam for college and town crews
Useful early term race practice and the first hint of form for the May Bumps. Sun 27th April Head race from the Plough to Two Tees boat shed organised by the St. Radegund Boat Club.

The highlight of the college rowing calendar involving a total of over 1500 students - with 81 competitors from Trinity Tue 26th February - Sat 1st March 2008 The famous Cambridge University Bumps on the River Cam
The focus of the year so far. The Lent Bumps are smaller and less prestigious than the May Bumps, but nevertheless involve 69 men's and 52 women's crews. Fri 30th November 2007 A 4300m timed head race on the Cam for VIIIs
The main focus of Michaelmas term for all Cambridge college senior crews. Thu 29th November 2007 A 2700m timed head race on the Cam for Cambridge College novice VIIIs
The main focus for Michaelmas term for all novice crews at Cambridge University. Mon 29th October - Fri 2nd November 2007 A knockout competition for Cambridge College IVs over 2800m (light IVs), 2000m (men's coxed IVs) or 1300m (women's coxed IVs)
For College senior crews, traditionally the most prestigious event of term, and the main focus of the first half of term for the better senior College crews.
