Beeramids by Martin - Fri 7th Oct 2005, 12:16pm
Until now our infamous beeramid has been the largest example of such an erection to be found on the internet. However, after all these years our efforts have finally been outdone... (sent by an anonymous reader)

Incidentally, beeramid even has an entry in the Wikipedia.

I would have to be a bunch of Aussies. Though I don't envy them having to get through that many cans of VB - filthy stuff.

Are those not smaller cans (? 330ml) than the 440ml used for the First and third construction. Not that their's isn't still bigger, but even so...

I think only the Green part of the beermaid (ground floor to 9th) was made of 440ml cans. The snow-capped peak (10th to 15th floor) was made of 500ml cans if I can remember correctly ;-) And I bet theirs took longer than a week for the bulk of its construction!

Clearly that should say "... of the Beeramid". A 15 storey Beermaid doesn't bear thinking about!

Incidentally we are still first hit if you put Beeramid into Google

I think there's a typo here. I am assuming that the "ha" is supposed to be "lo", and Mr Glass is revealing closet down-under criminal sheep-shagging tendencies...

...but it seems we're only the second external link on the wikipedia entry.
