I told you - I'll buy crappy girly watery Lucozade if I can find any. There hasn't been any recently.

would someone please explain to me what "hydroactive lucozade" is, apart from a waste of money?

It's specially watered-down Lucozade so it doesn't dehydrate you as much as the regular stuff whilst providing less than 1/3 the energy and costing 10p more

It's for rehydration...derr...

It's not as hypotonic as water - it contains some sugar (and salt I think).

I thought the point of Lucozade is that it's isotonic anyway. [John Barnes]"isotonic means it's in balance with your body fluids"[/John Barnes]. So why do they have a new hydroactive version?

I don't think 'normal' lucozade is isotonic...it doesn't taste very isotonic anyway, being ridiculously sweet as it is.

But yeah, who can forget Barnes kicking the can into the bin in the changing rooms and saying in a Jamaican-Scouse accent:

"Isotonic Lucozade Sport - it gets to your thirst. Fast." :)

"After 90 minutes of sheer hell..."

As if he ever ran around for 90 minutes and didn't just sit on the left doing sod all...

No, unlike some past members of the BC, I have never stored (or drunk for that matter) my own body fluids... :)
