Bow tie? by Martin - Tue 14th Jun 2005, 9:34pm
Have discovered I have a spare FaT bow tie. Anyone currently rowing want one? Needs a little bit of a clean and perhaps an iron (can you iron silk?), but is essentially fit for purpose.

I'm no expert, but I think if you put a damp tea towel over the bow tie you can get away with it. Alternatively you can take it to be pressed at a Dry Cleaners.

While we're talking kit, I'd be v grateful if someone could volunteer to get me a pair of Field Club socks and post them to me - my pair have shrunk beyond repair. Will obviously reimburse the cost. Thank you.

Turns out I also have a cap with 'FIRST AND THIRD' embroidered on the front which I don't wear.

If you had one of these and lost it in mysterious circumstances then let me know, this will be yours!

Otherwise grab it off me at the stomp (thurs onwards) if you fancy it.

Phil and I also found a FaT bow tie outside Johns. If it's yours and you've lost it you can have it, but otherwise one of us will keep it...

I have Rich Dewire's, and Lilie has (had?) P Willie's.

P Willie - at the ball, I thought I had yours. In fact, I gave it to Lilie at the bop.

Shhhh, I already returned his normal tie [and heart rate monitor..?!] He denied the bow tie was his. Had to give back ANOTHER maggie tie though- the collection's suffering a bit.

I would just like to end this here and now.

Amelia is THE original tie stealer. Don't mess.

I can confirm this.
