No, lard's lighter than water, so eating more lard increases buoyancy & thus boatspeed. It's inspired.

We missed this crucial point in Lents '99 and actually decided to no fat at all - d'oh!

Does the Life Van's Mega Mouthful burger not beat that hands down? I'm sure Graham will confirm the exact details, but it's four (quarter-pound) burgers, with bacon and cheese between each one plus sundry other calorific delights.

Some fat knacker from America managed to eat one in 1 minute 52 seconds.
