Rather amusing to notice on Bryn's boats page... the boat 'taking a hit for the team' so to speak - in its bumps aggregate as well as more literally.... down 19 apparently! Poor Peter Brandt. Quite amazing to think it could have survived so many bumps races though. | |||

| Perhaps that's because some of the less successful crews haven't bothered to fill in which boats they used.... Otherwise wouldn't we pretty much have all our boats in the first division?! Most of them started there at some point and all the other ones claim to have a positive aggregate! | |||

| I think that's because crews have on average gone up in the period covered by this record. Plus TR5 and Mary Tudor have big losses, so the overall aggregate isn't as positive as it looks when judged from the boats currently in use. Nearly all crews do have a boat assigned to them, so whether or not the aggregates are accurate assigned between the boats, I don't see how they wouldn't add up. (Also there was that occasion where we lost the 5th boat slot in the Mays... that might have disrupted the equilibrium if there are any boats assigned back then....) | |||
