Sat 5th April
A one mile head race from the Plough to Green Dragon.
Held over Easter and rarely entered by college rowers it is a fun sprint? from pub to pub.

Sat 26th April
A timed headrace on the Cam for college and town crews
Useful early term race practice and the first hint of form for the May Bumps.

2nd men's VIII (2nd Mays): 2nd in Mays 2
4th men's VIII (Lower VIIIs): 4th in Mays Lower

Fairbairn Junior Sculls
Mon 28th - Wed 30th April
A 2000m knock-out regatta in the 'chasing' format for single sculls

Single sculls (women's): Lost to St Catz in the semi finals

Colquhouns
Mon 28th - Wed 30th April
2km sculling race run by LMBC open to anyone in the university.
The premier university sculling event.

MF in his single scull (Open 1x): Lost to Caius in the quarter finals

Magdalene Silver Pairs
Mon 28th - Wed 30th April
A 2000m knock-out regatta for coxless pairs in the chasing format.
The Magdalene Silver Pairs is the more prestigious of the two pairs events.

Coxless pairs (Women's 2-): Beat Caius by 62s and Clare by 9s in a three-way final in the final

Lowe Double Sculls
Mon 28th - Wed 30th April
Held over the 2km course from Little Bridge to the posts downstream of the railway bridge. Part of the small boats regatta. Open to mens, womens and mixed crews.

Double sculls (Women's 2x): Beat LMBC by 48s in the semi finals and Beat Magdalene by 64s in the final
Gundle/Barratt (Men's 2x): Won, beat LMBC and Corpus in the final

Peter Brandt Sculls
Tue 29th - Wed 30th April
500m side by side race in singles for men who have not entered a sculling race before.

LB in his single scull (Novice 1x): Raced 3 rounds: Beat Corpus by a half a length in the final

Women's Championship Sculls
Wed 30th April
The women's 2000m knock-out regatta in the 'chasing' format for single sculls. Now called the Delafield Championship Sculls.

LR in her single scull: Lost to ZB by 21s in the final
ZB in her single scull: Beat LR by 21s in the final

Cambridge Head-2-Head
Sat 3rd May
A timed headrace in two parts, length 2x2000m.
Early May term race practice for many college crews.

Bedford Regatta
Sat 10th May
A knock out side by side regatta over 1200m
A large event attracting many college, university and club crews from Oxford, Cambridge and beyond

1st men's VIII (Open Eights, Band 3): Beat St Edmund Hall by 2/3 length in the quarter finals and Lost to Radley College by 1 length in the semi finals
1st men's VIII (College VIIIs): Lost to UEA by 1 length in the semi finals
1st women's VIII (Womens Eights): Raced 3 rounds: Lost to Pembroke by 1.25 Lengths in the final
1st women's VIII (College VIIIs): Lost to Keble College by 1 foot in the quarter finals and in the semi finals
2nd men's VIII (College B): Beat Wadham College by 3 lengths in the quarter finals and Lost to Worcester College by 1.5 lengths in the semi finals
2nd men's VIII (Open Eights, Band 4): Lost to Radley College by 2/3 Length in the quarter finals

Radegund Mile Head Race
Sun 11th May
Head race from the Newnham Bridge to the railway bridge organised by the St. Radegund Boat Club.
A minor headrace right at the start of term.

3rd men's VIII (Lower VIIIs): 1st in Category

Champion of the Thames Eights Head
Sun 18th May
A Head race for eights from the Plough Pub to the Penny Ferry.
The premier on Cam competition of the year. With alcohol based prizes for best bumps start, best line round Ditton - as well as for finish position.

Cambridge 99's Regatta
Sun 25th May
A side by side knock out regatta along the reach over 1000m
A fun summer regatta for college VIIIs. Unfortunately not all that many crews are able to enter, though, because of exam pressures!

1st women's VIII (1st division): Beat Churchill in the semi finals and Lost to Pembroke in the final
2nd men's VIII (3rd division): Lost to Girton in the heats and Lost to Homerton in the plate semi finals

X-Press Head Race
Sat 7th June
A fun head course race, primarily for town crews. Claims to be the bumps course, as rowed by nobody, ever.

1st men's VIII (2nd Mays): 1st in Category, 4th overall
1st women's VIII (1st Mays): 2nd in Category
2nd men's VIII (2nd Mays): 3rd in Category
4th men's VIII (4th Mays): 4th in category

May Bumps Getting-on Race
Fri 13th June
The 2000m qualifying race for the May Bumps
Entries in the bumps without positions in the finishing order of the May bumps last year, and up to 18 crews at the bottom of the last divisions, have to compete over a head race to "get on" to the bumps.
