2nd in division 4
Up 1 - Bumped Queens' III
Tuesday
Rowed over
A good rate, some lovely lines and a committment from the start that has been missing from a few recent outings gives us a nice foundation to build on for the rest of this week. (Max Acton)
The first day of lent bumps was here;
In us Jesus 3 had much fear.
They bumped by a hair,
Clipped first post whilst there,
And Peterhouse never got near.
(George Moger-Taylor)
This morning we entered the fray,
And Jesus M3 were our prey.
They bumped with their bow,
Caught Queens' by the Plough,
And Peterhouse was kept at bay.

(Toby Collins)
Jesus ahead, Peterhouse behind,
Up to rate thirty-six we did wind.
Jesus bumped rather fast,
Peters fought to the last,
But could not match our cox's tight lines.
(Nick Nelson)
Some patented asymptotic lines from Moger-Taylor sealed the deal (Robert Crossen)
Peterhouse gave chase,

Jesus caught Queens with much haste,

Over we did race.
(Oscar Allen)
Wednesday
Rowed over
We pushed to within 1/2 length of Queens' along Plough reach. We slowed into the corner. They pushed off Ditton; we gave up. They wanted it more than some of us. Rowed over with crews in front and behind at station. (Toby Collins)
Thursday
Bumped Queens' III
Again chasing Queens'—attempt two.
Straight off from the cannon we flew.
Our stroke seat came back,
Their stern we did whack,
And next race we have ARU!
(Toby Collins)
Happy and zippy
Finally put the legs down
A bump at long last

(Max Acton)
Saturday
Rowed over
Today was our very last row,
And ARU were not that slow.
We gained a small bit,
But they were more fit;
We gave a respectable show

(Toby Collins)
