Since CCRC decided to split up the few female 1x entries into even more categories I ended up with one single opponent who turned out to be a schoolgirl. Unfortunately she crashed into the bank about 100 m into the race which left me with no real opposition at all. Slightly disappointing, given that a combination of the 3 (!) W Novice categories could have provided at least some sort of competition and the chance for a few more races.
