Clare B didn't look like much, we thought we could take them.
Their start was good, ours was rubbish, but from then on we just rowed much quicker than them. However a crab at 4 which lasted approximately 400m meant that they gained a good 7-8 lengths on us. We pushed back, gained a couple of lengths, but general spackiness and too great a deficit meant we didn't have a chance. Crabs do happen, just learn to sort them out!!
