Cardinal's Regatta
Sun 12th April
"a regatta unlike any other..."
A fun post bumps regatta for mixed crews, with head starts for crews in fancy dress and widescale bribery of marshalls and race officials...!

Fruit and Veg (8+): Raced 3 rounds: Lost to Fitz Scientists by 1 seat in the semi finals
50 Blades of Grey (8+): Raced 4 rounds: Lost by about 180 degrees in the semi finals
James Bond (Mixed IV): Beat Pembroke easily in the semi finals and Lost to Peterhouse in the final
1st Tub (mixed) (2++): Lost to Darwin by 1 seat in the 1st round

Head of the Cam
Sat 25th April
A timed headrace on the Cam for college and town crews
Useful early term race practice and the first hint of form for the May Bumps.

Cambridge Head-2-Head
Sat 2nd May
A timed headrace in two parts, length 2x2000m.
Early Easter term race practice for many college crews.

Nottingham City Regatta
Sat 16th May
A high profile 2000m multilane regatta at the National Watersports centre in Nottingham
Four or five Cambridge boat clubs generally travel to Nottingham to experience multilane racing. Racing is held on two separate days.

1st men's VIII (IM2 8+): 2nd (2s down) in the heats and 5th (30s down) in the final
2nd men's VIII (IM3 8+): 5th (29s down) in the heats
M1 Bow IV (almost) (IM2 4+): 4th (16s down) in the heats
M1 Stern IV (sort of) (Senior 4+): 2nd (9s down) in the final
Almost M2 bow IV (IM3 4+): 5th in the qualifying and 5th in the heats
Almost M2 stern IV (IM3 4+): 3rd in the heats

Champion of the Thames Eights Head
Sun 17th May
A Head race for eights from the Plough Pub to the Penny Ferry.
The premier on Cam competition of the year. With alcohol based prizes for best bumps start, best line round Ditton - as well as for finish position.

Cambridge 99's Regatta
Sun 24th May
A side by side knock out regatta along the reach over 800m
A fun summer regatta for college VIIIs. Unfortunately not all that many crews are able to enter, though, because of exam pressures!

1st women's VIII (1st division): Raced 3 rounds: Lost to Emma W1 in the final
2nd men's VIII (2nd division): Beat Clare M2 by 1 length in the quarter finals and Lost to Wolfson M1 by 1.5 lengths in the semi finals

X-Press Head Race
Tue 2nd June
A fun head course race, primarily for town crews. Claims to be the bumps course, as rowed by nobody, ever.

May Bumps
Wed 10th - Sat 13th June
The famous Cambridge University May Bumps on the River Cam
The highlight of the college rowing calendar involving a total of over 1500 students - with 63 competitors from Trinity
