Bedford Autumn Fours Head
Sun 19th October
A 2000m timed head race on the Great Ouse
A few college senior IVs generally travel to Bedford for this race practice, and generally perform well.

University IVs
Mon 27th October - Sat 1st November
A knockout competition for Cambridge College IVs over 2800m (light IVs), 2000m (men's coxed IVs) or 1300m (women's coxed IVs)
For College senior crews, traditionally the most prestigious event of term, and the main focus of the first half of term for the better senior College crews.

Light IV (Light IVs): 2nd to LMBC in the final
1st men's IV (1st division): Raced 4 rounds: Beat Fitzwilliam (16s) in the final
2nd men's IV (2nd division): Raced 3 rounds: Lost to Darwin (3s) in the semi finals
3rd men's IV (2nd division): Lost to Wolfson (45s) in the 1st round

Head of the River IVs
Sat 8th November
A National timed headrace on the tideway (Thames)
Some of the top College IVs generally compete in this large and challenging event.

Cambridge Autumn Head
Sun 9th November
A 2600m timed head race on the Cam
Attracting many town clubs and some college crews.

Cambridge Winter Head
Sat 15th November
A 2600m timed headrace on the Cam
Open to all clubs, for colleges the Winter Head is useful race practice for the 'Fairbairns', and the first experience of racing for some of the novice crews.

Clare Novice Regatta
Wed 26th - Sat 29th November
Regatta for novices, run by Clare college
We were awesome!

1st men's novice VIII (1st division): Lost to LMBC in the semi finals
2nd men's novice VIII, FACE (2nd division): Lost to LMBC B (2 lengths) in the semi finals

Magdalene Silver Pairs
Wed 26th November
A 2000m knock-out regatta for coxless pairs in the chasing format
The Magdalene Silver Pairs is the more prestigious of the two University pairs events.

Kaye/Arnold: Beat Caran/Fawcett - Homerton (11s) in the semi finals and Lost to Flohr/Sweetman - Wolfson (59s) in the final

Novice Fairbairn Cup
Thu 4th December
A 2700m timed head race on the Cam for Cambridge College novice VIIIs
The main focus for Michaelmas term for all novice crews at Cambridge University - all novices compete.

Fairbairn Cup
Fri 5th December
A 4300m timed head race on the Cam for College VIIIs
The main focus of the term for all Cambridge college senior crews - all senior college crews compete, and our best novice crews usually do too!
