James Scott-Brown - Secretary

I noviced in Michaelmas term of this year, rowed in M3 for the Lent bumps, and will hopefully row in M3 for the May bumps. Whilst I am a relatively inexperienced rower, I believe that I have sufficient organizational skills to contribute to the running of First and Third.

If elected as Secretary, I would support the captains to the best of my ability, by efficiently chairing Committee and General meetings, maintaining accurate minutes and accounts, entering race entries in a timely manner, arranging dinners, and performing any other administration that is required.

In addition to these constitutional duties, I would like to update and clarify some of the static content on the website, so that it is easier for new members of the college to find out about the club and its activities. I will also attempt to find an alternative venue to the University Arms for the Fairbairn Dinner, by making early enquiries to other restaurants.
