Adam Blacklay for Junior Treasurer
About Me:
I’m a First Year Engineer, who already holds the position of Junior Treasurer for the Engineering Society and the Green Society. Consequently, I have plenty of experience of managing money, transactions and general accountancy. I started rowing this year, and was part of the highly successful 5th Men’s VIII in Lent Bumps, who not only won the 5th Headship, but also carefully avoided a bumping from Baitsbite Lock - being awarded the highly coveted foot, or should I say arse, of the river.
The Job:
The Junior Treasurer is responsible for keeping the Lard cupboard well stocked with all your favourite high calorie treats, as well as organising the photographers for those beautiful sepia poses. The JT is also responsible for updating the boards in the boathouse, and awards the Lard Trophy to the member with the greatest FaT intake over the year.
What I’ll do:
- I’ll have access to a car next year, and will make regular trips to the Cash and Carry to buy Lard.
- I’ll keep all your favourite treats and will be willing to take suggestions for more novel Lard - perhaps the inclusion of candy G-strings?
- I’ll also provide a price guide for the lard that is available, so that those FaT bills aren’t so much of a shock at the beginning of each term.

P.S. I’ll also buy Malt Loaf
