ICQ status display

Enabling or Disabling the ICQ status display

The steps taken to enable or disable the display of your icq status vary depending on the version of ICQ you have.

In version 2001b, from the "Main" menu you need to choose "Security and Privacy Permissions", then under "General" alter the "Web Aware" setting.

In some older versions (e.g. 2000b) go to "Preferences" from the "Main" menu, which is where you will find the "Security and Privacy" section. From there go to "General" and alter the "Web Aware" setting as above.
